Cory is a portfolio manager focused on securitized portfolios. He specializes in identifying relative value in sector allocation and security-specific opportunities within the structured finance sectors (e.g., residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).

Previously, Cory was a CLO credit analyst in Wellington Management’s Fixed Income Credit Research Group, working with portfolio management teams across the firm. Prior to that role, he worked as a quantitative analyst focused on RMBS and CMBS sectors, including time spent on Wellington’s Public-Private Investment Fund (PPIF) assignment. Before joining the firm in 2007, he worked as a fixed income analyst at Income Research + Management (2004 – 2007) and held a variety of positions within Evergreen Investments (2004) and Fidelity Investments (1999 – 2004). Cory earned his MBA from Boston College (2003) and his BA in economics from the University of Maine at Orono (1998). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
