Rob is a fixed income portfolio manager at Wellington and co-leads the management of Wellington’s Multi-Sector Credit strategy. Rob has spent his entire investing career at Wellington, primarily focused on multi-sector fixed income strategies. Rob conducts extensive quantitative research that underpins how the Multi-Sector Credit team makes credit cycle calls and assess credit sector relative value. He collaborates closely with Wellington’s many credit sector specialist investors to conduct this research and translate it into actionable insights for the portfolios he manages.

Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2007, Rob worked as a senior mechanical engineer modeling high power lasers at Lockheed Martin Corporation (2003 – 2005). Before that, he held engineering positions in the telecom and manufacturing industries (1998 – 2003).

Rob earned his MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago (2007) and his MS and BS in mechanical engineering from MIT (1998, 1997). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
