Michael is a Principal on the Private Real Estate Credit team. He is involved in all aspects of the deal process and works with our investment team on the origination, underwriting, structuring, and monitoring of private real estate credit deals across sectors. In addition, Michael is involved in managing and building relationships with outside financing partners to help originate and underwrite new transactions.

Prior to joining Wellington, Michael was a Vice President on the U.S. Private CRE Debt team at PIMCO, where he focused on originating, structuring, and managing commercial real estate debt investments for over 6 years. Earlier in his career, he was a Lead at Apollo Global Management, a Fixed Income Specialist at HSBC Securities, and a Product Analyst for Thomson Reuters.

Michael earned a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
