Wellington Management launches first interval fund and expands investment offerings for U.S. wealth investors

Wellington Management announced the launch of its first interval fund, Wellington Global Multi-Strategy Fund, which seeks to generate consistent and positive returns across market cycles while managing market risk exposure and seeking to minimize drawdowns and volatility. The Fund will be managed by Portfolio Manager Roberto Isch, CFA, who will be supported by an 11-member management team of key leaders across the platform.

Wellington Management wins “Insurance Asset Manager of the Year” award as part of Insurance Investor's  2024 North American Awards program

Wellington Management is very honored to have been named “Insurance Asset Manager of the Year” ($100 billion+ in Insurance AUM category) by Insurance Investor as part of their 2024 North American Awards program.

While Wellington did not pay to be considered for the award, compensation was provided for costs associated with attending the award ceremony and publicizing our win. Winners were selected by a panel of judges reviewing written submissions. The judges were invited by Insurance Investor and more about the judging criteria and process can be found here. This award was presented on December 5, 2024, the finalists were announced on September 27, 2024, and a submission was made in May 2024, which was judged based on written responses about Wellington’s partnerships with insurance companies. Wellington Management was the only winner in the Insurance Asset Manager of the Year ($100 billion+ in insurance AUM) category.
