Wellington aims to make ongoing positive financial, social, and environmental impacts in the communities we work and live in. The Wellington Foundations support programs and organizations seeking to close the opportunity and achievement gaps for youth and young adults in historically underserved communities.
Wellington Management Foundations
Wellington provides global support to programs and organizations that are helping to improve education and educational opportunities for youth in historically underserved communities.
We are helping to provide life changing educational opportunities and helping to open up pathways for young people to succeed in school and in life.
The Wellington Management Foundation and Wellington Management UK Foundation are both independent corporate foundations, supported by Wellington. The Wellington Management Foundation is run by an advisory board which includes a chair and vice chair and the Wellington Management UK Foundation is run by its chair and board of directors. All members of the Wellington Management Foundation advisory board are current or former Wellington employees and the board of the Wellington Management UK Foundation consists of Wellington employees and an independent director.
Firm giving and employee engagement
We invest in our communities through charitable giving and volunteering. These are three of our initiatives:
Employees can make contributions to community organizations and global relief through payroll deductions.
This policy enables employees to have their donations made to a nonprofit community organization matched by the firm.
Each employee is offered two business days a year to volunteer with a nonprofit community organization.
