As a sector lead, Cindy focuses on Wellington’s private company investment activity in consumer and technology sectors. The firm currently sponsors a series of late-stage growth funds that seek capital appreciation through investments in late-stage companies looking for strategic capital to move to the next phase of development. She is responsible for identifying and pursuing investments in such private companies by working closely with portfolio managers, global industry analysts and other global research resources within the firm.

Cindy joined Wellington Management in 2020. Prior to Wellington, she was a principal at Vy Capital, a growth-stage VC Fund, (2017 – 2020) and an associate at Kleiner Perkins (2014 – 2015) on the digital growth fund, covering consumer and e-commerce. She started her career in the Tech Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley (2010 – 2012).

Cindy holds an MBA from Stanford Business School (2017) and a BA in computer science and economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard University (2010).
