As a member of the Private Investments ESG Team, Courtney supports the execution of our private investment ESG strategy alongside the deal teams as they evaluate private company investments. She supports integration of material ESG factors into portfolio company research, diligence, decision making and engagement and helps craft content to educate internal and external stakeholders about our privates ESG research and capabilities, and how they set us apart from our competitors.

Courtney joined the Private Investments ESG Team after spending five years on the Client Service Team in Chicago, working with multiple client channels in the Midwest on a wide range of investment- and operation-related matters. Prior to joining Wellington in 2018, she held various client service, marketing, and administrative positions at Marquette Associates (2011 – 2018). Before that, she worked as an administrator for LPL Financial (2009 – 2011).

Courtney earned her MS in leadership and policy studies from DePaul University (2015) and her BS in public and nonprofit management from Indiana University, Bloomington (2009).
