We have been working with German institutional clients since 1994 and opened our first office in Germany in 2011. In June 2019, Wellington Management Europe GmbH was established as a new legal entity holding a MiFID license.
In 2016, we established local servicing capabilities for the Wholesale/Global Wealth Management channel and have continued to expand this over time.
Our client servicing team in Frankfurt has extensive experience in servicing German and Austrian clients. Our clients are also supported operationally by a local and international service team. This team is responsible for meeting specific client reporting requirements and is in regular contact with numerous KVGs and custodians.
Our German-speaking specialists in Frankfurt also include members of our compliance, product management, and portfolio management departments.
