Wellington Management works with approximately 200 consultants globally and has clients in common with many of them. We recognize consultants as peer professionals who provide important services to our clients.
Many institutions work closely with consultants to obtain independent advice on plan structure, asset allocation, or manager selection. Others work directly with investment advisors as part of a carefully crafted manager-of-managers strategy. In either case, we work collaboratively with consultants to identify and evaluate appropriate investment solutions and strategies for our common clients. We may also provide a broad range of services to consultants when they are representing a common client. In addition, we support consultants in the course of their due diligence by providing detailed portfolio information and access to investment professionals, so that they can develop an independent evaluation of our investment strategies.
