Wellington Management Foundation

Special Statement
The Wellington Management Foundation wishes to express its deepest sympathies to the victims, families, and friends of those affected by the Boston Marathon tragedy. We are terribly saddened by this loss of innocent life. The Wellington Management Foundation has been working with educational organizations in Boston for the past 20 years and we know that our city is resilient, strong, and compassionate. We will continue to support the children of Boston by funding organizations that support educational opportunities for Boston's disadvantaged youths. We believe that education is essential to our future, and we hope that, by helping to fund worthy educational organizations in the communities in which we work across the United States and globally, we are contributing to a safer world and helping children achieve their goals and aspirations.

  • The Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations which improve the education and educational opportunities of economically disadvantaged youth.
  • We support programs in and around the communities where we work and live: Boston, Chicago, London, Marlborough (Massachusetts), Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
  • The Foundation funded 37 organizations in 2012.
